The Steering Group covered a number of admin affairs, such as finances (managing grants, some of which have expenditure cut-offs) and the very many edits and updates to the Draft Plan. There were also updates on the investigation into possible car park sites, and response to letters from a resident regarding road safety.
The draft plan is almost complete. The Steering Group are collating the additional research, studies, and other necessary background paperwork in order to present the full draft to Hingham Town Council for approval. Next step: public consultation!

In November the Steering Group focussed on edits and updates to the Design Code and draft policies which they have been working on with AECOM and the consultants hired for the task.
